6 Spring Cleaning Tips

1: Get Organized

It doesn’t have to be anything crazy but go through your nightstand, bathroom drawers, linen closet, and even your laundry room! De-clutter and get organized!

2: Clean Out The Refridgerator

Of course, it is not everyone’s favorite task but it is so necessary. Check the expiration dates on your perishables and get rid of your old food! Try to combine your bottles of multiple condiments and take out those old leftovers. Watch all the room you will create!

3: Do A Car Refresh

Nothing feels better than a clean car! Set a timer for 15 or even 30 minutes if you have and see how much you can get done! Take out all the trash, do a quick vaccum and re organize the space. You will thank yourself and it will set you up for a successful spring!

4: Go Through Your Closet

With the transition between winter and spring it is the perfect time to take 20 minutes to go through your closet. Pull out the jackets and sweatshirts that you never reached for this winter and donate! You can also pull your spring/summer items towards a more visible area of your closet and maybe get a reminder of the pieces that you do have that you might have forgotten about.

5: Deep Clean The Floors

After the winter your floors and carpet are at their dirtiest. Hire professional carpet cleaners or tackle it yourself! Your space will feel a lot better and overall become a more inviting area!

5: Tackle That List You Have Been Avoiding

We all have a list of dooming tasks we have been avoiding! Set aside some time with friends or your partner to get some of those things done on that list. Make it fun! Turn on some music or your favorite show and start crossing those items off!
